However, at present, the main target markets of Indian steel mills are their domestic market and European market. The bid of Vietnamese buyers for imported hot rolls has also been raised to US $850-860 / ton (CFR).

Recently, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has led European steel mills to raise the price of hot-dipped galvanzied coil. Therefore, Vietnamese hot-dipped galvanized sheet manufacturers are bullish on the price of hot-dipped galvanized sheet exported to the European market. Some market participants said that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has put Ukrainian steel mills in the mode of shutdown and reduction of production. At the same time, Ukrainian port transportation is almost interrupted, and Russia's hot coil will mainly supply its own market, and exports will decline significantly.

In February 25th, Vietnam's import price of hot coil imports from Japan, Korea and Taiwan of China was 900-910 USD / ton (CFR), and the weekly ring ratio remained unchanged. There is a mainstream steel mill in Japan, and the latest quotation for hot coil to Southeast Asia is US $900-950 / ton (CFR).
